Juice Bag ProFolio Lets The Sunshine In

Any traveler with electronics devices knows that, sometimes, you just get stuck somewhere with a dead battery and no available outlet to charge things up. Reware aims to solve that problem with its new Juice Bags ProFolio attache/business bag that can charge cell phones, cameras, PDAs, and other handheld device just as quickly as if they were plugged into a wall socket…using solar power.

“We’ve released the Juice Bags ProFolio in answer to the many requests we’ve received from business people who are looking for a product that gives them the freedom to roam while staying plugged in,” says Reware managing partner Henry Gentenaar, in a statement. “Plus, doing so environmentally is a bonus for those seeking to keep their electronics ready for action. The Reware Juice Bag ProFolio uses a thin, flexible, waterproof solar panel charging system with 52 solar cells that’s capable of keeping up with the power needs of iPods, GPS units, cameras, cell phones, and other 12 Volt portable electronics devices—although it doesn’t put out enough juice to charge a typical computer—so long as the user has access to direct sunlight. The case is made from durable ballistic fabric stitched to military specs, and fitted out with pockets, dividers, padded grip handles, and a shoulder strap. The case can handle a typical 17-inch notebook and other business items. The ProFolio comes with a universal CLA/Car Charger female socket, and users can even hook together two juice bags for added charging power.

The Juice Bags ProFolio is available now from Reware’s Web site for $299 while supplies last, although the ProFolio will carry a suggested retail price of $399.
