An Australian Federal Court ruling Thursday could land Sharman Networks in court as soon as November over its Kazaa file-sharing program.
Justice Murray Wilcox set a tentative trial date of November 29, and announced that discovery and affidavit proceedings should be completed by October.
In February, Sharman’s Australian offices were raided by the Music Industry Piracy Investigations (MIPI) group, an enforcement arm of the music industry. The raid was conducted MIPI with what is called an Anton Pillar order
