Like It Or Not, Bing Becomes IE6 Default Search Engine

Microsoft admits it doesn't know why Bing is making itself the default search engine for those running IE6.
As anyone running Internet Explorer 6 will have found, Microsoft’s newly-minted search engine, Bing, is packing a lot of muscle. It’s making itself the default search engine for that version of the browser – and even Microsoft doesn’t know why.
"We are aware of the issue with Bing on machines running IE6 and are investigating a solution," the company said in a statement. "This issue is not impacting IE7 and IE8 users."
Search Engine Land discovered the problem on Tuesday, just ahead of Bing’s official launch in Seattle.
