Maxtor Adds Mini OneTouch III External HD

Manufacturer of hard drives and consumer storage solutions introduces their smallest form factor yet in external storage solutions.

Maxtor, a supplier of hard drives and consumer storage solutions, today rolled out their smallest form factor yet for external storage. The new Maxtor OneTouch III Mini Edition drives, which come in 60GB or 100GB and price for $149.95 and $199.95 respectively, are available now.

The OneTouch III Mini Edition drives, said Maxtor, weigh approximately seven ounces and are finished in titanium metallic paint. These drives, which are equipped with black rubber side panels for vibration protection, connect to a Windows 2000 or XP computer via USB 2.0. Data management options include automated backup, data encryption, data synchronization and system rollback to restore applications and operating system while keeping digital files current.

It also makes it easy for people to back up and synchronize business data and files, or to share and enjoy photos, music and video while away from home or office. It safely and simply unleashes digital content from the desktop.”
