Merrill Lynch praises Intel, doubts AMD

Once again AMD is cast as the under dog in the never-ending chip wars. But of course this is no surprise to AMD, they will just have to prove everone wrong...again.

Because of capital costs and delays in moving to 90nm and 300mm technology, it will be hard pressed to match the Chipzilla juggernaut. AMD’s management may be already dancing as fast as it can.”
