Microsoft Delivers Works Suite 2006

New suite of software titles brings together a collection of MIcrosoft home software titles which cover areas ranging from finances to maps and travel planning.

Microsoft today announced the availability of Microsoft Works Suite 2006. This collection of Microsoft home software titles can be found in stores for a retail price of $99.95.

Microsoft Works Suite 2006, said the computer software giant, consists of the following programs: Microsoft Works 8, Word 2002, Encarta Encyclopedia Standard 2006, Digital Image Standard 2006, Money 2006 Standard, and Streets & Trips Essentials 2006. All of these programs, with the exception of Word 2002, are new or enhanced versions.

“Whether you’re a multitasking mom or dad, your time is precious,” said Kim Schaefer, product manager for Works Suite at Microsoft, in a statement. “Microsoft Works Suite 2006 offers families the best tools to quickly accomplish the things they need to do so they can spend more time enjoying the things they want to do.”
