Microsoft has announced a program to send a free Windows security update CD to users of its Windows operating systems.
Microsoft will ship the Windows Security Update CD free of charge to owners of Windows XP, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows 98, and Windows 98 Second Edition (SE).
The CD includes Microsoft critical updates released through October 2003. The company is also bundling a trial version of antivirus and firewall software.
