Microsoft will release eight security bulletins for Patch Tuesday tomorrow, with six of them given the highest ‘critical' classification.
Yes, it’s just about time for Microsoft’s monthly Patch Tuesday, and the company is preparing to release eight security bulletins tomorrow, six of them given the highest classification of ‘critical.’
Two of the critical bulletins apply to Windows, with one for all versions of the OS, and the second just for Windows Vista and Server 2008. A third is for Internet Explorer 6 and 7.
The remaining three critical bulletins relate to Microsoft Office, with one each for security flaws in Word and Excel, and the last for Office FrontPage and Project.
The two important fixes cover Office SharePoint Server and Windows Media Player.
The updates should appear by noon tomorrow and Windows Update will give an automatic installation.
