Microsoft Unveils Overhauled Search Engine

Microsoft has unveiled a new version of its MSN Internet search tool that looks and acts much like industry leader Google.

The new search, found at http://search.msn.com features what Microsoft calls a “brand new algorithmic search engine” built with Microsoft technology.

The company says the site will be available only for a limited amount of time so that it can take in user feedback and then incorporate any changes it finds necessary.

MSN’s new search is expected to be available for widespread use within the next year.
