NEC Electronics Corp. is targeting the emerging wireless USB device market with first samples of a wireless USB controller due out in June 2005.
NEC demonstrated its wireless USB prototype this week at the Intel Developer Forum Spring 2004 in San Francisco, which is the industry’s first demonstration, the company claimed.
The introduction date is within six months of completion of a proposed Wireless USB version 1 scheduled to be completed by year’s end.
