Sony introduces also a new version of its Flat-Screen Destkop PC that is more portable.
The Sony VAIO PCV-P101 features a 17″ screen and weighs 7.8kg. The PC features a 1.06GHz version of Intel’s Mobile Celeron processor, has 256MB of memory, a 40GB hard disk drive, and CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive. The Sony VAIO P feature a handle to be carried around easily. The Vaio P measures 1,280 mm (50 inches) in width and 768 mm (30 inches) in height.
The Sony P is a follow-up to the Sony W line of Desktop PCs that were introduced last year.
The VAIO P PCV-101 will go on sale in Japan on November 22nd for 180,000yen.
