Yeah 3 hours is not long at all, and a 1GHz CPU is way too slow too, we saw devices this small using the Transmete Crusoe which ran around 1GHz a few years ago. The only difference here is the operating system.

Granted its not Tablet Edition, but the concept is nothing new.

The screen resolution on devices like the Samsung Q1 are 800×600.

Hmmm, I don't think it's terrible, but it's really just a shrunk tablet pc, and that idea died last time too. I can't see many people spending up tp $1000 on a device that only runs for 3hrs max? And to be honest it's still too big to be portable in an iPod way.
Bit disappointing really…

To be honest I am not too impressed with the designs I have seen thus far. I am really thinking the new Apple iPod Video will be able to do similiar things, or better yet, hopefully Apple comes out with a small Mac like machine to compete with this.
