Planar Debuts PX LCD Monitor Line

Planar's new PX LCD line emphasizes easy of use and sleek new ergonomic designs in 17, 19, 21, and 23 inch sizes.

With the intention to be used in business settings, the new PX LCD line from Planar is a good fit for computer assisted design, manufacturing and even finance according to Planar. The new PX212M and the PX2320MW are widescreen models with the PX2320MW able to support incoming HDTV signals. The Planar PX2320MW 23-inch LCD uses Planar’s RapidVideo technology to give the LCD a fast response. All of the LCD monitors announced today feature a speed rating of 10ms or less, which is sure to appeal to those that use graphic intensive applications or even games.

Planar’s PX line is available for immediate delivery and features the following attributes:

PX2320MW: 23.1-inch widescreen LCD monitor with WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution

— Five input options, including: digital (DVI-D) and analog; S-video and composite video; built-in, side-mounted 2+1 USB hub

— Picture-in-picture (PIP) and picture-and-picture (PAP) functionality

— QuadStand base with integrated TrueMedia(TM) 3W/channel stereo speakers

— Ultra-fast 8 ms (gray-to-gray) response time featuring Planar’s RapidVideo accelerator for superb full-motion video performance

PX212M: 21.3-inch LCD monitor with UXGA (1600×1200) resolution

— Four input options, including: digital (DVI-D), analog, S-video and composite video

— 10 ms (gray-to-gray) response time featuring Planar’s RapidVideo accelerator
