Plasmas, Notebook Prices Push Lower

Average U.S. prices for plasma televisions fell 3 percent in May according to an industry study prepared for Reuters.

The report, released on Monday, showed prices for a market basket of the 27 most popular electronics goods fell to $12,362 in May, down 3.1 percent from April, and down more than $1,000 since the start of 2004.
