Podzinger, a division of BBN Technologies, today announced the launch of its Podzinger podcast search engine. Unlike podcast directories such as those offered by Apple or Yahoo, Podzinger applies BNN’s speech recognition technology to podcast audio itself and creates a searchable index of the transcribed text. Users then search for terms and words in podcasts the same way they would use any other search engine.
