Privacy Concerns Grow over Google Desktop

The Electronic Frontier Foundation and other privacy advocates are warning users about a remote search feature which can store your documents on Google's servers.

I am assuming somewhere during the install process there is a disclaimer you agree to that lets them take your files and upload them to their servers? This opens a huge can of ethical worms. And can you imagine if someone backwards engineered this tool to upload your files to their servers instead?

    Lets not think about it...
