Red Hat Partners with HP for Red Hat Summit

“HP has been a strategic partner to Red Hat for over 5 years, we are very pleased to have them join us at the Summit,” said Ed Boyajian, Vice President of Global Alliances at Red Hat. “Red Hat Summit attendees will definitely benefit from learning about real-world implementations, and open source strategies directly from industry leaders.”

“As the platinum sponsor, HP is excited to partner with Red Hat to present the first annual Red Hat Summit,” said Martin Fink, vice president of Linux at HP. “The open source movement has revolutionized the way we think about IT solutions, support, and the integration of open source with traditional commercial solutions. The Red Hat Summit will be an excellent opportunity to highlight the latest in open source technology, innovation, solutions, and support we can provide to our customers today.”

The Red Hat Summit will blend different views and content into a program useful for attendees building and enabling open source architectures. General sessions will be held each morning of the three-day Summit followed by in-depth sessions grouped into three main tracks for attendees to choose from. Tracks include the Practical, Technical, and Business and Current Issues Tracks.

Registration for the Red Hat Summit is available to community contributors, developers, customers, and partners at http://www.redhat.com/. The first 600 registrants are eligible to win one of three Red Hat Certified Engineer courses valued at $2500 each.

The Red Hat Summit will have an attendance fee of $999 which will include registration, three-nights accommodations and meals.
