		<description>And who wouldn&#039;t pay that extra $120 dollars for a lot faster hard drive? A lot of people would. Look at the low capacity Western Digital Raptor drives with a 10K RPM rate. Premium builders like Alienware, VoodooPC etc would love to have that extra performance.</description>

		<description>I would argue that they are starting with a low amount of flash memory in an effort to extend their product line. You are talking a $30 difference between 256MB or 1GB of flash.</description>

More people will pay for an affordable hybrid drive than one that costs as much as the rest of the laptop or desktop system it will be put into.   The type of flash used is not the same as what goes into thumbdrives or other portable flash devices. </description>
