One of the first board vendors to bring the X800 to the market is Sapphire and Beyond3D takes a look at the performance of the Sapphire Radeon X800 PRO.

“The board is more or less the same as the ATI reference X800 PRO, using the same PCB design and the reference cooler. This particular version doesn’t feature any video in functionality, hence there is no Rage Theater chip on the board, or is there the internal VIVO connector as seen on the ATI reference boards (next to the internal power supply connector. The only other differences noticeable are the purple power supply connector and a different sticker on the heat-sink!“
