Toshiba is using CES to unveil a new line of laptops, as well as refreshing some older ones.
Toshiba has brought several new laptops, as well as refreshing its Satellite series, to CES this year.
“This is an exciting time for the consumer electronics community—we’re dealing with a generation that is technically sophisticated, and responds favorably to innovation,” said Jeff Barney, vice president and general manager of Digital Products Division, Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. “That’s exactly our mandate at Toshiba: We deliver laptops, devices and accessories that combine entertainment with innovative technologies, and every product on display at this show demonstrates those core values.”
The new products include the Toshiba Qosmio X305-Q725, aimed at gamers, with a 17-inch diagonal screen, NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GTX graphics, an Intel Core 2 Quad processor, 64GB solid state drive, and Harman Kardon stereo speakers – all for the price of $1,449.
The new Toshiba Satellite E105-S1402, available exclusively from Best Buy, weighs less than five pounds, has a built-in webcam and battery life of four-and-a-half-hours.
Meanwhile, the signature Satellite laptop line has been refreshed for CES with widescreen TruBrite displays, the option of Intel and AMD processor technology, and Toshiba’s Fusion finish sleek design.
