Digit-Life review the new Toshiba SD-R5112 DVD-R/RW Drive. Read on to see what they think.

Quote from the review at Digit-Life:

“Toshiba’s  optical  drives  do  not  raise  much noise when enter the market.   On   the   one   hand,   they   don’t   have   extraordinary characteristics,  on  the other hand, users value Toshiba’s drives for their  reliability  and quality. Last time the company brought out its own  DVD-R/RW  drive,  while other companies simply placed orders with the  only  OEM  drive  maker  at that moment – Pioneer. The device was pretty  successful  and  the  price was low. Recently this company has released  a  new  DVD  recorder.  The  new model isn’t multiformat and supports  recording  of  only DVD-RW standards, but its speeds keep in line  with  the up-to-date level, and the price is almost equal to the previous  model.  Now let’s have a look at the new model to decide how good it is.”
