As a quick point of correction, PhishTank is a free service of OpenDNS (not OpenDSN as written in this story). PhishTank is a community-based project to create an open database of known phishing sites, which can be tapped for free by by end-users and anti-phishing vendors to help keep people from falling victim to these scams. I joined the PhishTank community a couple weeks ago and have found it a fun and effective way to help fight phishing. I'd certainly encourage anyone who wants to do something to help stop phishing to check out the site.
