WinBook Launches M Series Notebook

WinBook today announced its next generation of value notebooks - the new WinBook M series, designed as a desktop replacement.

WinBook M series models up the ante in the desktop-replacement segment with faster Intel Pentium 4 and Celeron processors, brilliant 15-inch XGA (1,024 x 768) displays and large 12-cell Lithium ion batteries with prices starting at just $999.

“Small and medium-sized businesses and consumers looking to replace their desktop computers can now choose the WinBook M-301, the most feature-rich $999 notebook we have ever offered,” said Tom Paazig, Director of Product Development for WinBook and PowerSpec.

WinBook M models offer a choice of processors ranging from the Intel Pentium 4 processor 2.80 GHz to Intel Celeron processor 2.40 GHz, 60GB or 40 GB hard drives, and Combo DVD/CD-RW or DVD-R/RW optical drives, and up to 1 GB of DDR SDRAM depending on model. All WinBook M models include big, bright 15-inch (1,024 x 768) displays.
