WinBook Reveals WinBook W362
WinBook today announces the new flagship model for its widescreen WinBook W Series – the WinBook W362.
The launching of the $1,899 WinBook W362 marks the appearance of an impressive new level of functionality in WinBook’s widescreen notebooks. WinBook W362 models feature enhanced graphics with the ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 GPU and quicker performance from the Intel Pentium-M processor 755 (2.0 GHz, 2 MB L2 Cache, 400 MHz FSB).
WinBook also is introducing the $1,399 WinBook W322 model with Intel Pentium-M 725 (1.6 GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 400MHz FSB). Both new models will be shipping in time for holiday deliveries.WinBook W362 models make creating DVDs, CDs and MP3s is easy with the standard DVD/+R/RW. Gaming and DVD playback are enhanced by the standard 15.4-inch WXGA (1,280 x 800) widescreen LCD and ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 graphics with 64 MB video RAM.

The WinBook W Series is surprisingly thin (1.25-inch) and light (6.4 pounds), so it users can take all of its impressive digital capabilities on the road. The IEEE 1394 Firewire port and three USB 2.0 ports make connecting to digital cameras and camcorders simple. And both WinBook W Series models include a memory card reader which is conveniently located in the front just below the glidepad.
