On top of what I’ve found just by using it I read a lot of Microsoft’s 200 page document and found some additional goodies that will kick in in the future. Yes this is an important step for Microsoft, but I want to show you guys some of the extra stuff nobodies talked about yet.

Microsoft just revealed Windows 10 21H2, the second feature update to Windows 10 in this calendar year.

Rumored for a while now, the update is for the 1.3 billion devices running the operating system and promises to "help keep people and organizations protected and productive." It will be released alongside Windows 11 later this year, again asserting Microsoft's plans to support Windows 10 through 2025.

Microsoft releases the first major Windows 11 preview build

As promised, Microsoft has released the first major Windows 11 preview build to the Windows Insider Dev channel for beta testing. This preview version of Microsoft's next-generation operating system comes with many of the new features showcased last week at the company's June 24 event, as well as some new ones.

Along with the big redesign of the Start Menu and Action Center, the other major change in this first preview is the new notification center. It now has more fluently designed quick toggles for Wi-Fi and brightness.
