H2O Audio has unveiled its latest sports earbuds, the Surge 2G Headphones, which aim to not only stand up to the sweat and motion of fitness and sports fans: they’re also waterproof and touted by 16-time Olympic medal-winning swimmer Michael Phelps. The Surge 2G headphones built on H2O Audio’s earlier Surge headphones, offering a 100 percent waterproof design and a new “sheared” profile that offers users comfort with confidence that the earbuds won’t get in the way.
“The Surge 2G Headphones are the next innovation in providing consumers the latest technology for better sound and fit so they can fully enjoy any fitness activity, without worrying about the damage or corrosion that comes with exposure to water and sweat,” said H2O Audio CEO Tom Kampfer, in a statement.
The Surge 2G headphones come with five different eartips for a personalized fit, and provide a sound-isolating, watertight fit so users can pump their tunes even while in the water. The earbuds feature 8mm neodymium drivers and boast dynamic bass response so users can feel their tunes while exercising.
The Surge 2G Headphones are available now for a suggested price of $49.99.
