we just got this computer, and i have to say it really is amazing. you're right, it's not for gaming, but it actually can still play games fairly well, depending on the game. older games like halo combat evolved play flawlessly with everything turned up. i even recorded a video of it at the same time, and it turned out perfect. that's an old game, but many people find it perfectly fun, especially for multiplayer. most people who are going to play many games more serious than that are just going to get a custom gaming machine. in that sense, this computer is amazing with video. i hooked it up to my 52" plasma, 1080p, and could easily play a blu-ray video, and thanks to the wireless adapter it comes with, i could hook it up to the internet and play youtube videos in full 1080p flawlessly in full screen. it's amazing what youtube has come to by the way.

bottom line, this computer is just perfect for an HDTV. the wireless keyboard and mouse just add to it. and, i got it with windows vista home premium, but it was a free upgrade to windows 7, which is amazingly better than vista. the quad core processor is great, too. i just love how i can hook up my old sony video camera (uses tapes) or the VCR to the tv tuner and put all those old videos onto the computer to burn to a DVD, and at the same time be surfing the web or editing a video. that processor is never out of power, and the 6gb of ram is more than enough, even then you could still upgrade to 8. the hard drive is plenty spacious, and i don't see a problem with USB hard drives. the ones today are more than quick enough to transfer data.

bottom line, amazing computer. takes up little space, and whoever would buy a computer like this would never even need or probably want to play games that it can't handle. basically it's like the perfect entertainment computer. i also don't think it will be too long before they come out with more slim video cards.

it is stupid for most reviewers of PC to always judge PC's for their ability to run games well. This Slimlione is a nice multimedia machine, it is n ot a gamer, so discussing its inabilitty to do so is plain stupid.
That is a mistake that ll of you so called tech reviewers always do.

Most people buy computer for other utilitarian reason than gaming. Gamers know what to do. On the other hand I have played games on PC's that most of you techies have dismissed as too slow.

I should get a job as a reviewer since I know i can do a better, more balanced and informative piece than 99% of the tech writers out there. More so since I took a few journalism classes in college, some thing that the tech press do not have. Elitist is their commonality!
