I bought my HP touchsmart 600 in June 2010 but haven't been using often. Why? Problem 1: Many times when I start the PC, there'll be a black & white screen which reminds me of those antique computers. What's the problem? Problem 2: And once it's started, there'll be many pop-ups which asks if I want to install this or that. Problem 3: many times while I'm halfway through, there'll be a blackout & few seconds later there'll be a pop-up saying something like the system stop and had been recovered. I reported this to HP Singapore yesterday after waiting for 20mins over the phone, the service officer told me that their IT technician or whatsoever will call me back today. One IT person did call me back today but none of the problems I mentioned was solved and he insisted that it's not the hardware problems so he won't send anyone on site to service or I'll pay for the service if it's software problems. I'm so sad and lost, regret getting HP instead of Sony. I'd already asked store if this HP touchsmart is ideal for me and they said it's a plug-in and use. I rarely use this HP (maybe less than 20 times) unlike my old pc which I used it day & night. See, I'm a mother & home-maker, frustrated yet get no help or solution from HP. Very soon this HP will go to the attic but first, I'll make sure that many home user like me will know that HP is not at all user-friendly and god damn lousy customer service without any help to me. My tears drop as I'm writing this!

From: A Helpless Hime-maker with a lousy HP touchsmart 600, Jenn Lim
