The compact Canon PowerShot A3300 IS features a 1/2.3″, 16-megapixel CCD image sensor, a 5x optical zoom lens with an equivalent 28 – 140 mm focal length, and a fixed 3-inch LCD screen with 230k-dot resolution. The A3300 IS is capable of capturing video in 720 HD at 24 frames per second, with a couple of other lower resolution recording options made available. A microSD/MMC slot is provided for memory storage and expansion. Additional features include a USB 2.0 connectivity option, an integrated orientation sensor, 8 preset autofocus modes, and a rechargeable NB-8L lithium-ion battery pack, rated at approximately 230 shots per charge.
