The Canon PowerShot ELPH 500 HS point and shoot utilizes a 1/2.3″, 12.1-megapixel BSI-CMOS image sensor, a 4.4x optical zoom lens with an equivalent 24 – 105 mm focal length, and a fixed 3.2-inch Pure Color II TG TFT LCD touchscreen with 461k-dot resolution. The ELPH 500 HS is capable of capturing video in Full 1080p HD at 24 frames per second. A microSD/MMC slot is provided for memory storage and expansion. Additional features include a USB 2.0 connectivity option, HDMI (mini) input, and a rechargeable NB-6L lithium-ion battery power supply, good for approximately 180 shots per charge.
