The Fujifilm FinePix JZ500 point and shoot employs a 1/2.3″, 14.1-megapixel CCD image sensor, and utilizes a 10x optical zoom lens with an equivalent 28 – 280 mm focal length, and a fixed 2.7-inch LCD display with 230k-dot resolution. The JZ500 is capable of video capture with 720p HD resolution at 24 frames per second; a couple other lower resolution recording options are also made available for users. A microSD/SDHC slot is included for memory storage and expansion. Additional features include a USB 2.0 connectivity option, 3 preset autofocus modes, and a rechargeable NP-45A lithium-ion battery power supply.
