The Leica M Typ 240 is a rangefinder-style mirrorless camera structured around a full frame (36 x 24 mm) 24-megapixel CMOS image sensor. This device integrates a fixed 3-inch LCD display with 920k-dot resolution, an optical (rangefinder-style) viewfinder, and a Leica M lens mount. The M Typ 240 is capable of 1920 x 1080 pixel Full HD video capture at 25 frames per second, with a couple additional lower resolution options made available. A microSD/SDHC/SDXC media slot is proffered for memory storage and expansion. Additional features include an integrated orientation sensor, a USB 2.0 connectivity option, as well as a rechargeable lithium-ion battery power supply.
