Leica’s compact V-Lux 40 proffers a 20x optical zoom lens with a 24 – 400 mm (equivalent) focal length, a 14.1-megapixel, 1/2.33″ CMOS image sensor, and a fixed 3-inch LCD touchscreen with 460k-dot resolution. Full HD 1080p video recording is enabled on this device at 60 frames per second, with lower resolution options made available. For storage, the V-Lux 40 includes 12 MB of internal flash memory, with a microSD/SDHC/SDXC media card slot provided for expansion. This device includes integrated GPS. The V-Lux 40 also incorporates 7 preset autofocus modes, type C HDMI output, USB 2.0 connectivity, an integrated orientation sensor, and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, good for approximately 210 shots per charge.
