The ultracompact card-style Panasonic Lumix DMC-FP5 assimilates a Leica branded 4x optical zoom periscopic lens with a 35 – 140 mm focal length, a 14.1 megapixel, 1/2.33″ CCD image sensor, and a fixed 3-inch TFT LCD touchscreen with 230k-dot resolution into its thin chassis. 70 MB of internal flash memory storage comes integrated into the DMC-FP5, with a microSD/SDHC/SDXC media card slot provided for expansion. 720p HD video recording is enabled on this device at 30 frames per second. Additional features include USB 2.0 connectivity, 6 preset autofocus modes, optical image stabilization, and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery power supply, good for about 260 shots per charge.
