The Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS8 is essentially a simpler version of the model ZS10. Different from the ZS10, this model excludes integrated GPS, 3D capture, and Full HD 1080i video recording capability. This device presents a 14.1-megapixel, 1/2.33″ CCD image sensor, a 16x optical zoom lens with an equivalent focal length of 24 – 384 mm, and a fixed 3-inch TFT LCD screen with 230k-dot resolution. HD 720p video capture is featured on this device at 30 frames per second, enabled via MPEG-4 compression format. For storage, the ZS8 includes 70 MB of internal flash memory, and a media slot for microSD/SDHC/SDXC expansion.
