The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX50V is a mid-range compact point and shoot modeled around a 1/2.3″ 20.4-megapixel BSI-CMOS image sensor, a 30x optical zoom lens (24 – 720mm focal length equivalency) and a fixed 3-inch XtraFine LCD display with 921k-dot resolution. Additional features include enabled 1080p video capture, a SD/SDHC/SDXC media slot, an NP-BX1 lithium-ion battery (good for 400 shots per charge), as well as Wi-Fi, USB 2.0 and HDMI connectivity options.
