The ultracompact, card-style Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX55 incorporates a 16.2-megapixel BSI-CMOS image sensor, a 5x optical zoom lens with an equivalent 26 – 130 mm focal length, and a fixed 3.3-inch XtraFine OLED touchscreen with 1,229,800 dot resolution. Full HD 1080i video capture is made available on the DSC-TX55, running at 60 frames per second, with additional lower resolution recording options made available. Also provided are USB 2.0 connectivity, HDMI output, EyeFi wireless, a microSD/SDHC media slot for storage and expansion, 5 preset autofocus modes, and a NP-BN rechargeable lithium-ion battery power supply, good for about 250 shots per charge.
