My kids gave me one for Christmas. The menu interface is awkward, but very usable. The sound isn't the greatest, but you can hook it to some nice computer speakers easily with the headphone jack.
If you are not in the sideshow mode, the frame will timeout to a very nice looking clock (you can select digital of analog display). It doesn't run on batteries, you have to have the dc plugged in for it to work. I don't know how they can hang it on a wall with the dc adapter plugged in behind it. Nice idea though.
Overall a very good implementation of new features in a “picture frame.” I think the concept will get better with time.

In that picture where it's mounted on the wall, is it using a power adapter or batteries? I love the idea of mounting it, but if there has to be a power outlet behind it, that would suck.

Also, does the screen turn off automatically when not in use?
