EA and Crytek confirmed that Crysis 3 existed in April, and teased fans with a trailer that showed off snippets of gameplay and the beautiful Cryengine3 engine. For E3 2012, they brought out the shiny again to showcase Crysis hero, Prophet, destroying a dam and killing some soldiers.
There’s a bit more gameplay in this trailer than the previous one with glimpses of potential weapons and the, apparently, minimal HUD. Plot-wise, we know that Prophet will be battling the Cell Corporation again this time over the nanodome that the company has erected over New York City.
We can confirm that Crysis 3 will be out in February of 2013 but nothing more specific than that. It will be available on PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3.
