In the last couple of years, the Forza series has caught up, and perhaps even surpassed, the Gran Turismo series. Forza 4 was well-received by us and it came with mountains of content for fans, putting it on the map as one of the best racing simulators on the market.
However, with Forza Horizon it looks as though Turn 10 is going after the after the Need for Speed games. In the next Forza, races turn into chases through city streets and populated freeways. How the highly technical racing simulator translates to the arcade-y NFS style remains to be seen, but Forza has earned the respect of racing fans, so our hopes are high.
Forza Horizon is set for an October 23 release. And, like the rest of the Forza series, Horizon is exclusive to Xbox, so you’ll only be able to get this title for the 360.
