EA confirmed the next Medal of Honor during the Game Developers Conference back in March and they had a little more to show off at E3 2012. For Medal of Honor: Warfighter, EA is sticking with the Tier 1 operators theme that they introduced in Medal of Honor (the 2010 version).
The above trailer shows off some multiplayer gameplay and some of the military outfits that players can dive into, including the Spetnaz, SAS, and GROM, to name a few. Groups from eight different countries will be represented in the game, with three special forces units coming from the U.S. alone. If you’re interested in these things EA has teamed up with companies that supply actual Tier 1 operators with gear so that the look and feel of the equipment will be more authentic.
Currently, if you pre-order Warfighter, you will be given access to the U.S. Navy Seal sniper, which EA says takes about 40 hours to earn in the game. Medal of Honor: Warfighter will ship on October 23 for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC.
