Atlus’ popular JRPG Persona 4 is getting what looks like a complete revamp for Sony’s handheld PlayStation Vita. Among other things, the graphics were remastered to reflect the newer generation of graphics and the audio was expanded with nearly double the amount of voiced dialogue from the original release — which was no slouch in the dialogue department.
New content has been added as well, including a new story events, a new character, new personas, anime cutscenes and an opening animation with music by Shoji Meguro. One of the interesting new features that has been added is the online dungeon rescue. This allows players to call on other users for assistance if they find themselves close to death in the TV world.
Persona 4 Golden will be out sometime in the fall exclusively on the PS Vita.
