During E3 2011, Crystal Dynamics teased everyone with a new look for Lara Croft that took players back in to a time when the young Ms. Croft was not the world-weary, confident, tiger killing woman that fans are used to. Instead, they showed a scared, vulnerable Lara who has no idea what’s she doing.
The new Tomb Raider was originally slated for a Fall 2012 release, but Crystal Dynamics is pulling an Irrational Games and has delayed the latest Croft to March 5, 2013. With the new trailer for E3, it looks like a lot of gameplay footage has been used to create various moments.
We didn’t get a chance to play Tomb Raider at last year’s E3 but Crystal Dynamics has promised to have Tomb Raider at E3 2012, so we’ll more than likely be able to get our hands on it next week.
Tomb Raider will be on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
