Top 10 Most Anticipated Games for (the Rest) of 2010

Deus Ex: Human Revolution

(PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

Early 2011

Ok, ok, so we told you this list was subject to change based not on the look of the games, but more on the whim of us seeing cool things and drooling over them. So with that in mind, here is the first (but almost certainly not the last) addition to our list of most anticipated games.

First, this game is not coming out until 2011, so we are already bending our self-imposed rules of only featuring 2010 games. Watch the trailer and you will see why. This first-person shooter from Eidos is the third in a series of games that has been criminally overlooked. It is just one of those series that makes a name in certain circles- enough to keep it going- but has never hit the superstar status for games. Which is a shame, because the games are kinda badass.

This game will be a prequel to the original, which means that the nanotech your character used in the previous games has been replaced with mechanical augmentations. In terms of gameplay, it probably won’t take away anything, and it gives the added befit of your character looking like a scary SOB. The game also shines in terms of enemy AI. If you can identify and kill the enemy leader, the squad will fall apart and be much easier to take out.

This game still has a lot of development to go through, but it is already shaping up to look like one of 2011’s biggest games.
