Ian Bell - Editor-in-Chief

Ian Bell co-founded Designtechnica Corporation (renamed Digital Trends in April, 2006) in June 2001 with partner, Dan Gaul. Bell serves as Editor-in Chief as well as President and CEO. He is a 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 Microsoft MVP award winner for Digital Media. Prior to Digital Trends, Bell held positions as an IT Analyst for Lockheed Martin, a Sourcing Consultant for Intel Corporation and was the VP of Marketing for The Ostler Group, a strategic marketing firm. Bell studied Marketing and Business at the University of Oregon.

Scott Steinberg - Publisher

Freelance radio/TV host and author Scott Steinberg regularly appears on networks such as ABC, CBS, FOX and CNN and has covered gaming/technology for 300+ outlets from The New York Times to Playboy, Rolling Stone and TV Guide. His most recent books include Get Rich Playing Games, Videogame Marketing and PR and The Videogame Style Guide and Reference Manual, the first volume to definitively categorize the gaming business from A-Z.

Geoff Duncan - News Editor

Geoff Duncan is a writer and editor often covering technology, music, pro audio, Internet, and Macintosh topics, but also venturing into technical writing, research, fiction, and criticism. He's currently the technical editor of the long-running weekly Macintosh and Internet publication TidBITS, develops and maintains software and custom Internet services, assists in product development and software testing, composes and produces music and audio for various media, and plays sessions and live shows. Geoff's been doing electronic publishing since before there was a World Wide Web — don't get him started — and you probably don't want to play him at Jeopardy. He resides in Seattle, Washington.

Brandon holds a double BS in Computer Science and Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology from Emory University. After two years as Director of IT and Research Neurophysiologist for a small brain-computer research company, he spent 3 years in Big Pharma before returning to academia. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Neuroscience at Brown University, with an emphasis on Brain-Computer interface technology. Brandon regularly writes product reviews and hosts the Digital Trends Podcast.

Nick Mokey - News Editor

Nick Mokey is a senior magazine journalism major at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, located in Syracuse, New York. Prior to writing for Digital Trends, he was a columnist and later head opinion editor at S.U.'s independent student newspaper, The Daily Orange. Nick has also interned for and contributed to Popular Mechanics magazine. Besides toying with computers and gadgets, he enjoys running, motorcycling, camping, and finding absurd deals on Craigslist.

Dennis P. Damon Brown gets pop culture. The Northwestern grad covers music, sex and technology for Playboy, XXL, New York Post and Inc. He's a monthly game reviewer for SPIN and writes the Inspector Gadget column for PlanetOut.com, the largest gay and lesbian website. Damon has been interviewed on C-SPAN, NPR, G4 and BBC World, and helped moderate the first annual sex in video games conference in 2006. Alan Dang - Contributing Writer

Alan Dang has been writing in the technology industry since 1997. He has been published by CNET/Gamespot, Ziff-Davis's Gamers.com, FiringSquad, and DailyTech.com, and has even served as a technical consultant to video technology companies such as Silicon Optix/Teranex.
