Apple Combines iPod, iPod photo Lines
Apple does away with separate iPod, iPod photo lines by merging best of breed into new iPod model.
The new Apple iPod line-up will feature a 20GB model priced at $299, and a 60GB model priced at $399. Both of these iPods will feature a color screen and photo viewing capabilities. According to Apple the 20GB iPod can hold up to 20,000 digital images while the 60GB model can hold up to 25,000 digital images. Somewhere the math doesn’t add up, but we assume it’s an error in their press release; the 60GB model should be able to hold up to 3 times what the 20GB version can.
Apple also announced their new version of iTunes which adds a podcast directory and subscription manager to its list of features.
