I share your frustration - I just bought an 80GB Ipod (Classic?) on vacation in Hong Kong - so no chance of returning it to the store. Surely, as it was from an authorised retailer I have some come back - what benefit is it otherwise? I would be willing to pay the extra as I was looking for the largest storage possible and now that it 160GB - not to mention my ipod dropping £80 in value in a matter of days. Apple keep things very close to their chest with regards to new developments - if this has been Microsoft we would have known about the launch months in advance! Having said that I feel secure in the knowledge that Apple after care is second to none so maybe al is not lost.

The iPod Touch sounds amazing. I remember saying when the new iPhone came out that I wanted it as an MP3 player, not as a phone. Looks like Apple has answered that!
