Belkin Announces iPod Recorder Add-On

The new Belkin TuneTalk Stereo is geared towards iPod 5G (video) owners and allows one to record high quality recordings of materials like lectures and podcasts.

Belkin today announced an iPod accessory for creating high-quality audio recordings of things like podcasts, lectures and interviews. The new Belkin TuneTalk Stereo will be available later this month for $69.99.

The Belkin TuneTalk Stereo, said Belkin, has two built-in omni-directional microphones and an auxiliary 3.5mm stereo-input jack for attaching an external microphone should greater recording sensitivity be desired. The TuneTalk Stereo is designed to work with the Apple iPod 5G (video). Other features include a stand the size of a credit card which helps position the iPod towards the recording source, the ability to keep a case on the iPod while recording via an extended dock connector and an adjustable gain switch for better recording quality control in different environments.

The TuneTalk Stereo requires no software to be installed on a host computer and comes in both black and white colors.

  1. Matt at 11:19am 1st June 2006 A great idea by Belkin. Has anyone heard of ading a camera to an Ipod to record live videos etc? Might be great for bored meetings. "parden the pun". And could be used in a similar way as a camera on a cell phone.
