Earbuds Got You Down? Tweaked Audio Invites You to Go Pro

Tweaked Audio has introduced three new lines of "pro-quality" earbuds, featuring 10mm dynamic speakers and a variety of designs.

If the quality level of everyday earbuds has got you a little depressed—and the price tags on so-called audiophile earbuds have you even more depressed—Tweaked Audio is hoping you’ll consider their three new lines of noise-reducing earbuds, available in a variety of colors and styles to match your media player and personal style.

“The Tweaked Audio lineup is the result of smart engineering and a singular focus on giving consumers a great listening experience,” said Tweaked Audio VP Bruce Finman, in a statement. “From matching great speaker systems with other key components to designing styles and colors that speak to our target audience, Tweaked is positioned to have significant impact on the market.”

The Tweaked Audio earbuds all feature 10mm dynamic drivers claiming response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, gold-plated plugs, heavy gauge cable (at least compared to most consumer earbuds—you aren’t going bale hay with it), and aluminum housings. The “Tweaked” line is available in red, pink, blue, or green to match iPods, while the “Tweak Classic” line is available in black or white and is designed to “acoustically match speakers with a metal alloy housing.” (No, we’re not sure what that means either.) Finally, the Tweaked Natural line uses an aluminum-and-rosewood housing.

All Tweaked Audio earbuds come with three interchangeable ear gel adapters, a carrying bag, and a one-year warranty. The Tweaked line has a suggested retail price of $29.95; the Classics go for $34.95 and the Naturals for $49.95.
