  1. Rusty at 2:57pm 10th August 2005 that's my point though. Things are going very well for the ZVUE boys. Just live with it.
  2. TechFreak at 10:28am 10th August 2005 I think its s safe assessment to say that the Zvue is not doing so well bro. Just live with it.
  3. Rusty at 4:13pm 9th August 2005 That's exactly what I am saying. "to spur more sales." was made up by the writer. No where in the company news release does it mention that this was done to spur more sales. No where!

It is a poor assumption on the part of the writer.

Apple doesn't always drop prices to spur sales even though it is something that usually happens. They do it because costs are cheaper, they need to compete with other players or because they have new products coming.

  4. Ian Bell and Dan Gaul at 3:09pm 9th August 2005 Why drop the price then if its selling well. Didn't you read the story?

Not everyone shops at walmart either, they need to market themselves better.
  5. Rusty at 1:04pm 9th August 2005 Explain to me how it isn't doing well when it is in Wal-Mart?
  6. I LUVAPPLE at 11:01am 9th August 2005 Well its not like the Zvue has recieved postivie reviews, otherwise it would be doing better.
  7. Rusty at 10:58am 9th August 2005 Wal-Mart sells more consumer electronics than you think, so basically, you probably have purchased some there.

I believe I have even heard they are like No. 2 for CE. That's the point. the Mass Market shops at Wal-Mart.
  8. I LUVAPPLE at 3:59pm 8th August 2005 LOL nice comments you twit. The Zvue is a retarded wanna be product with a low user base and bad sales. So what if they are in Walmart stores, who the hell shops at Walmart for CE products? Your brother tank who lives in a trailer park maybe...
  9. Rusty at 2:32pm 8th August 2005 I heard you work for Apple, and that you are telling complete lies and that you don't know what you are talking about and that the ZVUE is now in over 1,000 retail locations. (many of those are Wal-Marts).

Now don't you sound real stupid about your "going out of business" comment.

Gizmondo - on the other hand - has had recent news articles saying they are on the brink of bankruptcy. Heck, you should have seen all the money they wasted at CES on their booth. I'll be they spent $1 million. And, their product is hard to use.
  10. Rusty at 2:29pm 8th August 2005 spur more sales? How did they come up with that?
  11. Ian Bell and Dan Gaul at 2:26pm 8th August 2005 I heard this company is going out of business, so is Gizmondo.
